Summer Coolers


Servings: 2 cups

Ingredients:
  1. 2 cups cubed watermelon
  2. 1/2 banana
  3. 1 cup sliced peaches
  4. 1/2 cup strawberries

Method:
  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Almond Chocolate Drink/ बादाम चॉकलेट ड्रिंक



Here is a drink for summer, my friends who is thinking to lose weight in summers and thinking for what to start with.
So drinking this smoothie in your breakfast or snack time gives you energy and even helps to stop your starving as its heavy and healthy drink with no calories and helps in boosting metabolism 



Serves- 2 cups
Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cup of milk
  2. 3 tbsp of almond butter
  3. 12-15 raisins
  4. 1 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
  5. 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 cup ice
आवश्यक सामग्री 
  1. 1 1/2 कप दूध 
  2. 3 बड़ी चमच्च बादाम बटर 
  3. 12-15 किशमिश 
  4. 1 बड़ी चमच्च फीकी कोको पाउडर 
  5. 1/2 छोटी चमच्च वैनिला एक्सट्रेक्ट 
  6. 1/2 कप बर्फ 
Method:
  1. Mix all the ingredients and blend it to smooth.

  1. Watermelon- Keep it cool this summer by having juicy watermelon. A bowl of watermelon works like magic on a hot day. Considering its' summer and one has to hydrate themselves on a regular basis, watery fruits like watermelon can be a substitute for water. With the fruit boasting several health benefits, you can take it in the form of juice as well
  2. Buttermilk-What's a better way to beat the heat than treat yourself to buttermilk? Add some rock salt, powdered or roasted cumin along with some coriander leaves to make your buttermilk taste better. Having every day works well for your system as buttermilk helps yours digestive system run smoothly.
  3. Yogurt-High-on protein, Yogurt is made for summer consumption. Carry one to work every day and you are sorted. It has a cooling effect on your stomach and keeps a check on your calories since it is low on fat.
  4. Cucumber-They didn't say 'Keep it cool as a cucumber' without a reason. It is high on water content and one can have cucumber in several ways. Carry a box of cucumber sprinkled with salt and pepper, or take it in the form of juice/soup as well.
  5. Tomato-Many people don't know that tomatoes act as a natural sunscreen protecting our skin from harsh sun rays. Include tomatoes in your everyday meal — as a salad or add it to your regular meal.
  6. Oranges-Citrus foods work well during summer and oranges are a must during summer. They are high in fibre, vitamin C and also provides necessary sugar to your body.
  7. Coconut water-You will find numerous shops selling coconut water during summer. Reason? It keeps you cool during summer. It quenches your thirst and boasts several health benefits too.
  8. Sugarcane juice-In order to retain water in your body, have a glass of sugarcane juice. It also helps in cooling off body heat, which is beneficial during summer. Since it already has sugar, don't add extra sugar to the juice. This way, you can keep a check on your weight.

8 easily available Veggies to Fight This summer



1: Snake gourd (padval)
It creates a cooling effect for the body. It is useful in correcting disorders, processes nutrition and it restores the normal functioning of the system. Snake gourd helps to stimulate the production of body fluids and relieves dryness. Snake gourd is the best household remedy for heart problems. The juice from the fresh leaves is useful for heart disorders like palpitation and pain in the heart on physical exertion.

 2: Pumpkin (kaddu)
Pumpkin possesses great cooling and diuretic properties. It is also good for improper digestion and eliminating intestinal worms from the digestive system. Pumpkin contains potassium and fibre. It also controls blood pressure and sugar. It helps in curing skin diseases. It is thought to regulate blood sugar levels and help stimulate the pancreas — thus diabetics are advised to eat pumpkin.

3: Bitter gourd (karela)
Bitter gourd is a cure for boils, rashes, fungal infections and ring-worm. It also helps control hypertension and diabetes, and generally increases immunity.

 4: Bottle gourd (Dudhi)
As bottle gourd is mostly made of water, it helps you deal with heat and is also useful for stomach problems like acidity, which mostly occurs in summer. Bottle Gourd prevents extreme loss of sodium, satisfies thirst and helps in preventing exhaustion.
 5: Amaranth leaves (Chawli bhajji)
Amaranth leaves are not only typical summer vegetables but are also very much nutritious. It is also known as Chinese spinach, cow pea leaves, Chawli ka Patta, Chawli Bhaji.

 6: Ridged gourd (turai)

 7: Ash gourd (Bhatuvaa)
It helps to keep your body cool and healthy, as it contains almost 96% water It also helps to protect you from heat stroke. Ash-gourd is loaded with nutrients. It's an excellent source of vitamin B1 (thiamine), a good source of vitamin B3 (niacin). Its high potassium content makes this a good vegetable for maintaining a healthy blood pressure. Ash-gourd is also useful in treating respiratory disorders like asthma, blood-related diseases, and urinary diseases like kidney stones.

8: Cucumber
Cucumber has 96% water content, which helps in keeping the body hydrated and in regulating body temperature. Mango- Vanilla Blast


Ingredients:

  1. Blend of semi solid liquid of 1 mango
  2. 1 scoop of vanilla icecream,
  3. 2 choclate stick for decoration 
  4. 1 slice of mango for decoration


Method:

  1. In a glass add blend juice of mango to its half then add scoop of ice cream to it
  2. Now place a small slice of mango on top of it and add chocolate sticks at the 2 corners of the slice
  3. Here mango-vanilla blast is ready to serve
