5 Reasons You not able to lose weight



1. You Serve Meals Family-Style

Research shows that people eat more when food is served from the table.  Make your meal at the stovetop and bring it to the table to eat 19% less than you might in a family-style eating arrangement. 

2. Your Thermostat Is Set Too Low

Cold room temperatures are good for burning calories, but when it’s too cold, your body temperature drops and you tend to eat overeat to help keep you warm. To avoid shivering your way to overconsumption, keep the room’s temperature above 66 degrees. If you like to keep your house cold, eat a bowl of soup to warm up your body and fill you up so you eat less.

3. You Spend Too Much Time on Your Smart Phone

Smart phones keep you sedentary if you’re browsing the Web, playing games or scrolling through Facebook while sitting down. An easy way to avoid this fat trap is to stand when using your phone. Standing for one hour can lead to five pounds of weight loss in one year. 


4. You Drink Skim Milk

Although doctors have recommended skim milk for years for it’s low fat content, it’s actually not that much better for you than whole milk. In fact, research shows that people who ate high-fat dairy products had a lower risk for obesity. Switch to whole milk to feel fuller faster and, in turn, eat less. 

Your Pajamas Are Too Tight

Believe it or not, tight pajamas might be keeping you fat, especially if they're made with fabric that doesn't breath, like satin. In this situation, your body temperature can raise and you won't be able to produce enough melatonin. You want to be cool in your sleep to produce enough melatonin to help you fight fat. Avoid this fat trap and sleep in loose and light cotton pajamas tonight.
